Facebook Timeline
Something I've always wanted to do was make a cool cover photo that corresponds with my profile pictures some people have come up with really cool things. I do have a really good idea, at least I think, but I can't tell you until I do it so I am original. Here is one site. http://www.allfacebook.com/facebook-timeline-cover-photo-hacks-2012-03 It doesn't have the best, I've seen way better.
Easy Hack
Researches found that you can find out where someone is through there cellphone easily. All you need is a cell phone and open source software. What you have to do is call then hang up before there phone rings. This could go unnoticed because it still sends a signal to the phone in which case something has to track down the phone in order for it to receive it.

The "Unhackable"
Google Chrome is widely know for being "unhackable". Turns out a French team named Vupen has hacked it at the Pwn2own Hacking contest. They did not actually compete in the competition so they did not win money.

Gamestar Mecahaninc
Gamestar Mechanic is a site based on game designing. The first objective is to beat the quest in order to get all the sprites, backgrounds, and music as possible. With all of this you can go to your workshop and build a game with multiple levels. The whole philosophy of it is to have a balance between the gamer and the designer. If the game is too easy for the gamer the designer does not please the audience. If the game is too hard the same result. The gamer is looking for something challenging but not almost impossible. In order to show you this they make you become a gamer first so you can see what it is that a designer should do. This website allows you to play other people's levels as well. The website tries to incorporate STEM into the games but you can make the games to whatever intrigues you.

Technology and Memory: From Then to Now
"If men learn this [writing], it will implant forgetfulness in their souls; they will cease to exercise memory because they rely on that which is written, calling things to remembrance no longer from within themselves, but by means of external marks." - Socrates.
With the invention of books and the printing press, more knowledge has become so much more accessible than in the time of Socrates. It eventually led up to the internet and now knowledge is just found with a click away. At the time of writing the inventor thought that this spread of information would be amazing and at first it was. But as knowledge has become more wide spread it seems as though through the years as information became more accessible and produced rapidly our pace of reading followed along. Now if you read a chapter speedily through an American History book, how much would you really know. People often wonder does it really matter what I memorized, because it is right there and for anyone to use, "by means of external marks".
Have you ever had that teacher who has so excited about teaching this material. You would start to wonder why he/she hasn't gotten bored with the information since he/she have been teaching it for years. The reason they are so excited is because from that aspect through their memory they have a different outlook on life and seem to be more grateful for this knowledge. For me if you would start getting excited about the different trees in the forest, as we walk through I would not give a care but you would have a closer relationship to the world we live in. For me I could tell you numerous facts about the Beatles and be excited while telling you. Anyways the whole point is if memory is so important to the way we view our world, then why do we push it away. Is it out of ignorance? I don't know. But now even though information is given to me in servings far more than Socrates my vision of the world is smaller.
I was just about to type a quote... but I forgot what it was. It was said similar to a book memorized is more effective the thousands of books read.

GrabCAD
Have you ever wanted to view models of engineering works? Aviation, automotive, machine design, tools, architecture, and electrical are the different types of CAD models you can view or create. A CAD model is a Computer Aided Design model. Through GrabCAD you can upload your own models while downloading other models. A free program to make these with would be Google Sketchup. Good luck and have fun.
